While Thank You Next, 2.0 is a fruity floral fragrance, the original is much sweeter and more of a gourmand scent. With the original TYN, you get a weird opening that smells a bit like pickles and once it dries down, it becomes sweeter with a coconuty vibe to it.

The scent itself does absolutely nothing for me. The orris root makes it smell like complete rubber on me. TUN 2.0 is very nice. Sweet strawberry mixed with the signature Ariana marshmallow. The dry down smells mostly like a toned-down version of Cloud. My opinion is that Cloud needed toned-down anyways.
